Well, where has the time gone? The last three months have absolutely flown!
It’s three months since we took a leap of faith and joined the ever growing number of fantastic businesses at The Piece Hall. Three months since we opened our little shop to the public and started our journey in becoming the central hub in Halifax for rugs, tables and beautiful interiors.
From the very start, we have been greeted with so much warmth from our fellow unit holders and The Piece Hall Staff alike.
The unique setting means that we have had the privilege of being visited by customers from both home and much further away; Canada, India, Vietnam – to name but a few.
Not to mention the wonderful events that have taken place during our time here; from spring lambs to record and wedding fayres, the fantastic production, Zara (featuring a 20ft mechanical baby) and, of course, the Tour De Yorkshire!
Because of the diversity that The Piece Hall caters to, we have made sure that we have included a large range of products so that there is something for everyone!
We have sold rugs large, small and everything in between. We’ve worked closely with customers to design tables that suit their personal taste and requirements and provided beautiful handmade interior accessories.
With the introduction of new signage in the courtyard and advertisements in local publications, we have seen an increasing footfall each week!
Our free delivery service to anyone within 5 miles of Halifax has been very popular and the flat rate of £10 delivery anywhere else in the UK means that our products can be supplied to any of our mainland visitors.
We’re so very grateful for our experience here so far and incredibly optimistic about what the future holds for The Rug & Table Shop.
